'Bali' Ecology

At least 12% of the development has been reserved as green zones, such as parks, gardens and pocket gardens. This is further enhanced by generous Village streetscapes as well as the turfed and landscaped banks of natural water bodies and banks of natural creeks The aim is to create a sustainable ecosystem and protect the water table while providing the community with a wholesome and serene environment.

bali Gardens

Reduce, reuse, recycle

At Bali recycling is one of the key community activities, enabling residents to dispose of their recyclables like paper, plastics, metals and glass. They will also be able to bring their organic waste for composting which will be used to fertilize the Bamboo Farms and the Village plants.

Keeping it Local

A sustainable community must be as self-contained as possible with avenues for residents to buy locally. To this end, our development master plan has provisions for a commercial centre as well as a farmer's market to provide opportunities for the nearby organic farms and market gardens to sell their produce directly to the 'Bali' residents.

Reducing carbon footprint

Sustainability and a small carbon footprint go hand in hand. We provide numerous opportunities for residents to lower their energy consumption, from planning a township Complete with a network of pedestrian and bicycle paths and ensuring that facilities are within walking distance to building energy-saving houses with solar power or renewable energy capabilities.

A Sustainable Township from Scratch

We create 'Bali' as a sustainable Farm Village. Our objective is to build 'Bali' as responsibly as possible right from the point of groundbreaking, and to put in place environmentally-friendly infrastructure and green design concepts to ensure that the Village can be sustainable for the long term.

Waste management

Minimizing environmental Impact

In keeping with our holistic approach to living, nearly all waste generated from Abundance 'Bali' Village is managed onsite. Effluent waste is managed through vertical flow wetlands,
a sustainable and highly effective way of treating water.

Household Waste, Recycling & Composting

Full waste removal and recycling services are available at 'Bali'Village, provided by Village Service Team. Our recycling services include plastic, metal, paper and more. Additionally, many 'Bali' Village residents compost their kitchen waste, creating rich nutrients for our abundant gardens.
